DIY: Last minute Halloween candle holders

DIY: Last minute Halloween candle holders

I started this tutorial two weeks ago but haven’t had the time to finish it. Luckily it’s a very simple and fast tutorial so it can be made withing half an hour and hopefully in time for your Halloween party. Happy Halloween!

DIY: Last minute Halloween candle holders
Materials needed:
▪ mason jars in different sizes
▪ clue that’s suitable for glass and paper
▪ paper with a Halloween theme

Optional:
▪ iron wire
▪ tools to cut and bend the iron wire

DIY: Last minute Halloween candle holdersStart with cutting the paper so it fits around the jar + some overlap on the back for gluing it together. Glue one side of the paper strip onto the glass, wrap the paper around the jar and glue onto the point where you started. Be sure the use the glue only on the backside of the jar, otherwise you will see the glue through the paper.

This is how simple it is, the Halloween light is already finished. As an extra option you can use the iron wire for making a hanging candle holder. Here is a good tutorial about how to make hanging jars.

Happy Friday

Not sure why it took so long but I finally have an Instagram account. Since I don’t have much time to blog during weekdays I now can take pictures of what I’m up to. So here’s my week in pictures. Happy Friday!

Hello fall!

The last few weeks of summer have flown by and fall has really started over here.  I love fall, the wind always brings new energy. It’s been a while since my last post but I’ve been doing great! My new job is keeping me very busy but I absolutely love it. And I also have some exiting news to share. Me and Mr Cute got engaged!!! He popped up the question during a romantic walk on the beach. We’re hoping to get married summer 2012.

Well hopefully this new fall energy will give me some more time and inspiration for my blog. Here are some cute autumn items for you. Enjoy!

Happy Monday

Good morning, how was your weekend? Mine was busy, just like the past two weeks. As you might know I started my new job in child care. It’s a big change from working at home to working with 30 children and going back to school again but I absolutely LOVE it! The kids give me so much energy. I’m already looking forward to go to work this afternoon. Have a great Monday!
