Too bad we don’t celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands since I love Halloween stuff! But I’ve made up a little Halloween tradition myself. I always watch The Nightmare Before Christmas on the night of October 31 (and I watch it again just before Xmas). Who is gonna watch it with me this year?

1999 - 2009

After many years of illness my beautiful and super sweet cat Jackey was put to sleep this afternoon. She was really calm and she fell asleep in my arms. It was heartbreaking but I’m glad I’ve stayed with her till the end. Jackey has been with me for 10 years, she was just a little kitten when I adopted her. I’m gonna miss her so much and Mickey will miss her big sister.

Sleep tight little baby! Thank you for all the joy you have given me!!

Fall is really falling in now. Today is such a cold and rainy day so I’m keeping myself busy with some sewing. I’m working on more cookie, poo and strawberry softies since I’m all out of stock again.  And of course I drink a lot of tea to keep myself warm.
