It doesn’t look like summer at all today (it’s dark, cold and rainy) but last Saturday we went to the beach and had some really good sunny weather. I love going the beach! Watching the waves, hearing the seagulls and feeling the sand between your toes… mmm the ultimate summer feeling! And with the beach comes cute sea creatures. For someone who is ’supposed to be’ on a break I’ve been quite busy this week. Besides working on a wholesale order I’ve also worked on some new stuff. Here is a sneak peek of the she.likes.cute jewelry I’m working on. I also will make rings, pins and hair accessories. Love to hear what you think.

Last Friday we went to the zoo and had so much fun. It’s amazing that such a wonderful zoo is just around the corner of our home (only a 10 min walk and somehow I haven’t been there before!). One of my favorite zoo animals is the elephant, especially little baby elephants. This week’s Inspiration Tuesday is dedicated to this large but oh so cute animal.

This wooden on a kind red and white polka dot elephant is made by Bunny with a toolbelt. I love the polka dot ears, such a cute detail!

Beautiful art print ‘Catch a falling star’ from Trafalgar’s Square. I’m a sucker for everything with stars and look at the cute bunny and elephant. They stole my heart.

Things have been very hectic lately, that’s why I’m taking a little summer break. I really need some time to relax and catch up on things. During my break the shop stays open. All items purchased between August 4 and August 15 will be processed on Monday, August 16.
